The ultra-luxury hospitality brand’s first property in Singapore will combine a hotel, residences, and a private club in The Skywaters tower.
Aman Singapore, the first property in the city-state from the ultra-luxury hotel group, will open in 2028 inside The Skywaters, a 63-storey skyscraper set to become Singapore’s tallest building. The hotel will include residences, a private Aman Club, and signature wellness and dining experiences, all set above the Shenton Way green belt, with views across Marina Bay and the southern waterfront where you’ll find Jin Ting Wan at Marina Bay Sands.
Founded in Thailand in 1988, Aman has long been associated with secluded, low-rise retreats. Its move into Singapore is part of a broader evolution toward urban sanctuaries, following recent launches in Tokyo, New York and Bangkok.
The design, by long-standing Aman collaborator Kerry Hill Architects, draws from Singapore’s Black and White bungalows, with layered textures, natural materials and generous spatial proportions. The result, Aman says, is “tropical serenity fused with metropolitan sophistication.”
Inside, the hotel will span several floors of the tower and offer some of the largest suites in the city, with spa-like bathrooms, private terraces, and warm wood interiors. One full floor will be dedicated to wellness, including a panoramic pool and spa. Early renderings show a mix of serene communal areas and lush balcony gardens.
Alongside the hotel will sit Aman Residences Singapore, 78 branded homes accessed by private lift and designed with Aman’s characteristic discretion. Residents will have access to the hotel’s amenities as well as private concierge services.
Also included is a members-only Aman Club, similar to existing sites in Tokyo and New York. Though pricing has not been released, Aman’s previous clubs have included a five-figure joining fee and exclusive access to events, wellness facilities and curated dining.
The project is located in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, steps from Marina Bay and the new Greater Southern Waterfront development. The Skywaters tower itself, designed by SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill), will stand 305m tall, making it a defining new landmark on the skyline.
Though Singapore already has a strong luxury hotel market, Raffles, Six Senses, Capella and others, Aman’s arrival is likely to appeal to a different kind of guest: quiet, loyal, and globally mobile. The brand rarely advertises. It tends to eschew fanfare in favour of space, texture and time.
Aman describes the new property as “an elevated sanctuary poised above the lush green belt of the Garden City… offering utmost seclusion in one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities.”
Sales for the residences are now open by enquiry only, with a confidentiality disclaimer attached. Hotel rates and membership tiers for the Aman Club have not yet been announced.
This is Aman's first step into Singapore, and another signal that urban calm, not just coastal retreat, is central to its next chapter.
